Multicolored floral print challis dress; main print is black ground with white, sage green, and purple small flowers; black tie at neck with white dots; burgundy and lavender floral print lawn sleeves, long and full shape; upside-down U-shaped appliqué edged with mustard yellow seam binding tape at skirt front; long skirt has 2 rows of ruffles; top ruffle edged in black lace, bottom ruffle edged in white lace; no waist definition; no label. -
Two piece ensemble
A. Multicolored silk georgette blouse; many different fabrics, primarily black printed with flakes of pale yellow, pink, pale lavender, and pale aqua; standing collar edged in black lace; black front tie with metallic gold stripes; long set-in sleeves button at wrists; seams covered with metallic gold striped fabric; upper part of sleeves is abstract print of stripes and curves in many colors; black fabric yoke with polka dots at back, yoke has ruffle edged in black lace; gathered at waist. B. Multicolored silk georgette pants; many different fabrics, primarily black printed with flakes of pale yellow, pink, pale lavender, and pale aqua; gathered at waist; slim to ankle. -

A. Black print plain weave cotton blouse with red, green, yellow, and white leaf pattern; Dolman sleeves in one with blouse; drawstring neckline. B. Red linen weave rayon skirt with floral and block print cotton apron; narrow apron is oval shaped; bright yellow geometric stitched hip panels; stitched-down loose panel in back reveals cotton printed and stitched panels; red waistband. -

Light orange crepe and satin striped blouse; band collar with ties at center front; appliqués of floral print fabrics edged in khaki colored silk tape on chest; fabrics are black and white floral, burgundy and white floral, and pink and blue floral on gray ground; dropped armscyes; long full sleeves finished with elastic wrists; hip length; unlined. B. Brown linen skirt with appliqués throughout; appliqués are floral prints edged with khaki silk tape; A-line; straight waistband; zipper closure; unlined; mid-calf length.

Black rayon dress with faint cheetah print; V-neckline; armholes have raglan seams reaching into the upper portion of the neckline; thin self-fabric ties hanging down from top of neckline to waist, knotted at ends; embroidery detail along raglan seams, 1.5 inches wide showing an even floral pattern in off-white thread; in the middle of each floral is either a gray or purple detail; 3/4 length sleeves with roll-up cuffs and gold trim down sides; matching gold trim along side seams; patches of various patterned fabrics outlined in gold-yellow trim on right front side; top patch has nature print in light green, purple, and beige on black ground with gold stitching details; middle patch is a golden and black zig-zag print with gold stitching details; bottom patch has polka dot print in white, gold, red, and blue on black ground with black stitching details; pockets on both front sides; label: "Koos van den Akker New York den haag". -

Multicolored printed wool challis skirt of various fabrics; primary fabric is black with blue and pink floral print and band of yellow at top; hip yoke is gray, white, purple, green, gold, and dark red floral print; straight waistband; gathered at hip; mid-calf length. -

Gray wool tweed tunic; fabric is woven with thin black warp and thicker brown weft with small, randomized flecks of red, green, blue, and yellow; contrast fabric is colorful large-scale plaid woven cotton; rounded bertha style collar in contrast fabric with six lines of smocking; long raglan sleeves; flared cuffs with three black spherical button closures; this same button closure is on the back collar as well as a center back zipper closure; 24.5 inch slit down side seams; colorful plaid contrast fabric runs along hem, side seams, armscyes and cuffs in .5 inch wide strips; mid-calf length; label: "KOOS Koos Van Den Akker, New York". B. A. Multicolored large-scale plaid cotton skirt; dirndl style; three contrasting trims; first, a white, gray, and magenta dot print forming diamonds that runs horizontally around the hip, knee, and 1.5 inches above the hem; second, a faded pastel floral print running horizontally below the knee; third, purple, blue, turquoise, and gray woven twill running along hem; elastic at waistline; welt pockets along side seams; mid-calf length.
Worn with tunic (Object ID #2014.09.03.a) to form two piece ensemble.
